The credit card and e-check option is available for use through the internet only and may be used for current or current delinquent tax payments only. The Treasurer's Office cannot process credit/debit card payments in the Treasurer's Office. There is a computer available for taxpayers use in the Treasurer's Office. A few things you should know before you enter this site. The Treasurer's office does not charge a fee, however the bank will charge a convenience fee for each transaction made. If you choose to use a credit card the convenience fee will be 2.75% of the tax amount. If you choose to use a Visa debit card drawn from your checking account a set fee of $3.95 will be charged. If you use an e-check the convenience fee will be $1.00 per transaction.

The site will walk you through an eleven step process. The first part of the site Treasurer's area allows you to select the parcel (s) you wish to pay, and will give you the option to pay either the half or full tax amount. Please note that if you have more than one parcel, you should query the site using your name. All parcels assessed under the name entered should display. You should then select the parcels you wish to pay. This will be considered one transaction. You will be charged one $1.00 convenience fee for multiple parcels if using an e-check. If using a credit card you will be charged 2.75% of the total tax amount being paid.

At the present time you cannot schedule a future tax payment. The payment appears on the Treasurer's system the date the payment is made on the website.

Once you select the "Make Payment" option, you will enter the banks portion of the site. It is suggested that you select the "pay without registering" option unless you will be using the site on a daily or weekly basis. You will be asked for your credit card or checking account information, your e-mail and billing address.

If at any time you do not wish to proceed, you may exit the site and your payment will not be completed. However, if you submit the payment you will receive a confirmation that your payment was successfully completed along with a payment confirmation ID number. You should print this page for your records. If you wish to cancel a tax payment made through the website you will need to contact Del Olivas at (719) 583-6682 or mascaren@co.pueblo.co.us.

Online Payments are no longer accepted for the 2009 tax year. Payments are now accepted in the form of redemption. Payments must be received as certified funds, either by cashier’s check or money order. Online Payments will be available again (2010 tax year) on January 1, 2011. You may still choose to view a prior Online Payment.
