Budget

Manages Pueblo County's budget and finances.

County Attorney

Provides legal service and advice to the Board of County Commissioners, their divisions and departments.

Correctional Services

Offers high-level planning and administrative services in the areas of Community Corrections, Alternatives to Incarceration, and jail overcrowding relief in order to ensure the safety of the citizens of Pueblo County.

Economic Development

Administers the Pueblo Urban Enterprise Zone and the Revolving Loan Program.

Fleet Management

The Fleet Management Department is the vehicle and equipment service and repair entity for Pueblo County.

Housing and Human Services

Provides high quality housing and human services, either directly or through monitoring of programs and services on behalf of Pueblo County.

Human Resources

The Human Resources Department provides personnel and benefits services to all County Departments and Elected Offices. Services include recruitment, selection and orientation; compensation and benefits; position classification; training; employee recognition; and a variety of other employee-related programs.

Information Systems

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of automated data, as well as the development and implementation of applications using a combination of software, databases and GIS technology.

Information Technology

Provides technology tools, and services that directly support and /or augment the services delivery of the Elected Offices and other mandated County functions and duties.

Planning & Development

The Department of Planning and Development is responsible for both current and long-range planning activities as well as zoning activities.

Public Works

Public Works is responsible for the maintenance and improvement of the County’s transportation infrastructure, parks, buildings, grounds, and facilities pursuant to federal, state and local laws and in keeping with the community’s priorities and needs.

Pueblo City-County Health Department

Provides family and community health services and education to residents of Pueblo County.

Purchasing

The Purchasing Department is responsible for keeping a vendor’s file, negotiating bids, solicitation, preparing contracts, maintaining the County’s non-capital inventory system and pricing for County services and products needed.

Retirement

The purpose of the Retirement Department is to assure the steady and healthy growth of the Retirement Funds.

Social Services

Provides protective services to children and adults, income maintenance, medical and food assistance to eligible individuals and families, and self-sufficiency services to assistance recipients.
