June 19, 2009 –The Pueblo City-County Health Department announced confirmation from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment that individuals from the San Isabel Boy Scout camp tested positive for H1N1 influenza. One adult troop leader and one camper tested positive, both are from Plano, Texas.
Flu cases in Pueblo continue to be monitored by health officials at the Pueblo City-County Health Department. The extended flu season prompts health officials to urge individuals to continue to practice flu prevention actions to stay healthy.

The Pueblo City-County Health Department is continuing with its pandemic preparedness planning as the World Health Organization (WHO) raised its worldwide pandemic alert to Phase 6 in response to the ongoing global spread of the influenza A (H1N1) virus. A Phase 6 designation indicates that a global pandemic is underway.
