Are you a teen between the ages of 13-18 and concerned about how the choices you make today will affect your health tomorrow? Well, here i8s your chance to achieve the knowledge of healthy lifestyle changes! Sign up now for TEEN LIFESTYLE BALANCE.
This is a FREE program open to all teenagers 13-18 years old.
Participants meet weekly for 14 weeks with each session lasting 90 minutes. This is a great opportunity to get fit, manage your weight, and be healthy for life. The classroom structure is very casual with a lot of laughs and support. If you are apprehensive about the class, keep in mind that everyone attending is probably struggling with similar concerns you are. Together we can make a healthier and more active community.
The only required equipment is athletic shoes. You will be provided with all other classroom material. There are lots of fun incentives throughout the 14-week course. If you attend 11 of 14 classes, your name will go into the TEEN LIFESTYLE BALANCE lottery for a chance to win the GRAND PRIZE!!
Parents are encouraged to come to at least one of the meetings to understand what the program entails and how they can support their child throughout; parents are also encouraged to participate and/or volunteer.
